Becoming Catholic / RCIA

Are you an adult interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith or about becoming Catholic? Great!

The Catholic Church offers a process called RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) whereby you can learn about the Catholic Faith and, if you choose, become a member of the Catholic Church.

At Our Lady of Hope Fr. Saunders leads a weekly RCIA class on Thursday evenings from 8:00-9:00pm. It’s a class for everything you wanted to know about the Catholic Church but were afraid to ask! The class begins in September and ends at the Easter Vigil Mass (when those who choose to join the Catholic Church will do so).

This class is perfect for anyone (Protestant, atheist, or other) considering joining the Catholic Church or interested in learning more about Catholicism as well as Catholics who want to learn more about their faith.

Invite your friends and neighbors to attend the class with you! For more information or to join the class please call the parish office at 703-433-6770 or email at secretary@ourladyofhope.net.

You can view the complete RCIA video series on Catholic Straight Answers.com.
