Personal Technology and Our Youth
Captain Peter Ryan, U.S. Navy (Ret)
Peter Ryan is a Catholic husband and father of four who recently retired as a Navy Captain after 28 years of service. In his free time, he has begun studying the profound effects that Personal Technology Usage (PTU) is having on our lives. He recently authored “Technology, the New Addiction,” which was published in the September 2018 edition of the U.S. Navy Journal “Proceedings,” and is in the process of founding a non-profit called LookUp4Life.org. LookUp4Life is focused on spreading awareness regarding the impacts of PTU, particularly on the youngest generations.
Come learn how technology usage is impacting your family and get practical advice for protecting yourself and your children from its harmful effects. This is a practical and spiritual call to action!
We will have two sessions: 4:15-5:30 p.m. and 6:00-7:15 p.m. Seating is limited, so be sure to sign up for your preferred session in advance here. Please make arrangements for younger children. We are unable to provide childcare at this time.
