Inquiry Class (RCIA) - Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church

Inquiry Class (RCIA)

Laurie Berstene, Coordinator

Are you an adult interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith or about becoming Catholic? Great!

The Catholic Church offers a program called RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) whereby you can learn about the Catholic Faith and, if you choose, become a member of the Catholic Church.

At Our Lady of Hope, our priests team-teach a weekly RCIA class on Thursday evenings from 7:30-8:30pm. It’s a class for everything you wanted to know about the Catholic Church but were afraid to ask! The class begins in September and ends at the Easter Vigil Mass (when those who choose to join the Catholic Church will do so).

Who is RCIA for?

RCIA is the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, it has been a process for people to become disciples of Jesus and members of the Church since the 300’s A.D.!

  • Un-baptized adults
  • Adults baptized in other Christian Denominations
  • Adults baptized as Catholic, but have been away from Catholicism, never celebrated Confirmation and / or have never received Holy Communion

There’s no commitment to complete the program. Complete the short info form below, and we’ll reach out with more information.
