Blessing Bags Collection

As mid-January approaches, the temperatures are dropping lower and lower. During this time of year, it is important for us to remember those who lack a warm home and are in desperate need of basic necessities such as food, water, and warm clothing.  Last year, the Frassati Group’s Homeless Project was able to donate over 50 bags of these necessities to the homeless population in Washington D.C thanks to your generous item donations.  This year, the project goal is to donate over 75 bags to not only the homeless population in Washington D.C., but to those in our own local area as well. By participating in this project, each one of us is not only filling the homeless population’s need for basic supplies, but more importantly, we are filling their desire to be loved.

Please join us by donating supplies! Click here to visit the sign-up genius and see what items are needed. Donations may be dropped off by January 19th in the Frassati Group box in the Our Lady of Hope narthex, or by giving your donation to any of the following Frassati Group members:  Andrew Engelhard, Alex Harvey, John and Rachel Hurley, and Matthew Wilkinson.  If you have any questions, please email the group at frassatigroupva@gmail.com
