Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship

Our Lady of Hope Council 12791 is hosting the annual Knights of Columbus Basketball Free Throw Championship.

Location: Our Lady of Hope School Gym
Date: Monday, 01/20/2025, 8:30 am to Noon

• Registration will open at 8:30 am for the first group.
• Free throw shooting will begin at 9:00 am for the first group.
• The table below contains the phasing of each age group registration and shooting times.

Eligibility: Event is open to boys and girls 9 to 14.
Age of eligibility is determined by the age of the contestant as of January 1st . Proof of age is required
(e.g., birth certificate, school id card, or other id with date of birth).
There is no cost to participate in this event.
Format:
 Each participant will take 3 warm-up free throws followed by 15 consecutive free throws. Ties will
be broken with a shoot off. There are no warm-up free throws in a shoot off.
 Council champions will qualify for the District competition round to be held in February.
 District Champions will qualify for State competition.
