I’m extremely pleased to let you know that Liz Andersen has agreed to become co-leader of the Mom’s Group with me! Liz will take “co-ownership” of the various activities and initiatives of our group, so be on the lookout for messages from Liz! The Mom’s Group started about two years ago, and has grown into such a wonderful group of loving moms that care so deeply about their children’s development and their roles as moms. The Group is going to really benefit from Liz’ involvement, so I thank her for taking on this role!
Here’s some background on Liz for those of you who don’t know her: Liz and her husband, Danny, have been parishioners of OLoH since 2012 when they moved to Sterling. Liz stays home with her 3 children: ages 5, 3, and 1. She is an active member of the Endow study group and assists with her daughter’s American Heritage Girls troop. She is a graduate of the Franciscan University of Steubenville and worked for the Diocese and for the pro-life movement before staying home with her children. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, learning tennis, and photography. She is honored to serve the moms of the parish.
