Overview
The Empty Nesters and Seniors (50+) group is made up of both part-time workers and retirees who get together for a weekday activity about once a month. Our mission is faith, fun, and fellowship with emphasis on fellowship. We also support the parish in its other service activities.
The group was formed in 2017, and is always welcoming new members! There are no dues, but if you sign-up for one of the day trips, we request a donation to cover the cost of the tickets (if any) and to cover some of the cost of the bus.
Our monthly activities generally involve one of the following:
- Lunch out at a local restaurant
- Late morning Coffee & Tea/Speaker or Pot Luck Lunch/Speaker in the St. Thomas More room
- A day trip (by bus from church) to religious or historical sites, or museums nearby (one or two trips per year)
