What is the 40 Hours Devotion

The Forty Hours Devotion is a privileged time to adore the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Jesus Christ our Lord is really present in this great blessing, and through your participation in the hour you will enter into His presence in a very special way.

This beautiful devotion, expressing our love for our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament, is an opportunity for all to grow closer to our Lord and reflect on the many graces He has given, and continues to give us, in our lives.

Families are strongly encouraged to come and pray a Holy Hour together. Regarding families and Adoration, St. John Paul II said, “The spiritual lives of our families are strengthened through the Holy Hour.” It is hoped that as many parishioners as possible will visit the Lord during these very special days.
