Parish Office, Coordinator
Our Lady of Hope is a parish richly blessed with parishioners who give generously to support the many ministries and programs of our active parish. Your monetary gifts make a necessary and meaningful impact while contributing to the vibrancy and spirit of our community. Your support—no matter the amount—is vital to continue the work of our parish and its ministries.
This year’s Pro-Life Angel Tree supports A Woman’s Choice (Herndon), the Gabriel Project, and Project Rachel. Take a tag from the tree and return your unwrapped gift by December 21. Monetary donations and gift cards should be returned to the parish office, or mailed to the organization using the attached envelope.
Thank you for your spirit of generosity! Your support of these organizations makes it possible for women to choose life.
Support the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1177 (Leesburg), the Knights of Columbus, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians in their annual Sweats for Vets campaign. Donate a new, unwrapped set of sweats to support a veteran at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WVA. Donations may be placed in the box in the narthex until Christmas. All sizes are accepted, but there is a particular need for XL, 2XL, 3XL, and 4XL.
Want to do more to help? Be a monetary donor and support additional patient activities at the Medical Center. Contact Tim Melia using the form below for more information.
Many employers (or their charitable foundations) match donations made by their employees to charitable organizations dollar for dollar, sometimes even more. These are called Matching Gifts or Matching Funds. Some employers match gifts to religious organizations, but many do not; however, educational agencies like Our Lady of Hope Catholic School are usually eligible to receive matching gifts.
Do you know if your employer has such a program? If you work for BAE Systems, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cigna, Costco, Dominion Energy, ExxonMobile, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Home Depot, KPMG, Leidos, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Northrop Grumman, PWC, Red Hat, Starbucks, Symantec, or Verizon the answer is yes! CLICK HERE to see if your company is eligible or ask your company’s Human Resource Department. Be sure to let us know what you find out! This simple inquiry could double your impact without costing you one penny more.
If you have any questions, contact Pat Sabas in the parish office.
Our Lady of Hope gratefully accepts gifts of stock and mutual funds. All such donations are handled by the Catholic Diocese of Arlington’s Finance Office.
