Bambinelli Sunday, 9:00 am Mass, December 14th

Saint Pope John Paul II began the tradition of Bambinelli Sunday during his papacy to remind families about the glorious event of Baby Jesus’ arrival.

He encouraged the children of Rome to bring the Baby Jesus (Bambinelli) from their Nativity sets to be blessed by him after his Sunday Angelus address. The tradition has spread to parishes worldwide to help children and families prepare for Christmas and to remember the meaning of the holiday.

Our Lady of Hope parish invites children and families to bring the Infant Jesus from your family Christmas crèche for a special blessing immediately after 9:00 Mass Sunday, December 14th.
