Simbang Gabi

Simbang Gabi is a novena of Masses observed by Filipinos. In the Philippines, the Masses are celebrated in the early morning hours, but winter weather in the US has made it more practical to hold the Masses in the evenings. The Masses start on December 15 and continue through Christmas Eve. It is common for people to visit various churches during the novena.  

After an absence of five years, Simbang Gabi returns to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Everyone, not only Filipinos, is invited to this celebration.  

Filipino Christmas treats will be given after the Mass while they last.
