2026-2027 Religious Education classes for students in grades Kindergarten – 8th Grades are offered on Tuesday evenings, beginning on September 15, 2026 and ending on May 11, 2027.
Kindergarten class will be from 4:30 pm- 5:30 pm.
Classes for Grades 1st – 8th will be from 4:30 pm-5:45 pm.
OCIC-I and OCIC-II classes will be from 5:00 pm-6:15 pm.
NOTE: OCIC classes are for children 7 years or older who have had little to no formal religious education and need sacramental preparation for Baptism, First Holy Communion, and/or Confirmation.
SPRED: Special Religious Education
We have a ministry for special needs children and adults. We provide sacramental preparation as well as classes focused on sharing the light of Christ to our special needs friends in our community. This ministry is open to non-parishioners. Meetings are held every-other Sunday from 3:00-4:30 pm.

First Communion
Generally, First Communion is received when a child is in second grade. Preparation for First Communion is a two-year program, and students must complete both first and second grade classes before receiving Holy Communion.
There are Special Sacraments classes for older children who need First Communion. Contact the Director of Religious Education for more information.

Confirmation
Confirmation is conferred in the fall of ninth grade. Preparation for Confirmation is a two-year program, and students must complete both seventh and eighth grade classes before receiving Confirmation.
